After my last article, a dear friend from the Northeast called me and said, Javier, do you not think that being so direct is contrary to your objective of being listened to? To which I replied, you see my friend, the USTA pretends to listen when you have a reasonable approach, but in the end, they will just pay lip service to you, while making sure that nothing that you say is even heard. This is of course part of the problem of the status quo. However, when sponsors, the media, and the attorney general read my articles, they of course think, how bad can this tennis organization be if it is as described? This my friends are something the USTA cannot ignore, even if it wants to.

If you pay close attention to what they say and do, my influence in their thinking is unequivocal, all you must do is listen to why Mr. Sherr claims he wants to work for the USTA and he falsely claims that it is the mission that drives him, yet in 12 years of him working there, nothing has been done by him or others for the mission (lip service).
