MILTON FRIEDMAN AND THE BRILLIANT USTA.

How I wish that the USTA executives would read his work. For those who do not know who Milton Friedman is, here is a short primer. Milton Friedman (1912–2006) was a U.S. economist and Nobel laureate known as the most influential advocate of free-market capitalism and monetarism in the 20th century. He is considered one of the most brilliant economists that defended free markets and capitalism. He authored many books, but the one that I want to refer to today is one called “The Freedom to Choose” this book argues against those who disparage free enterprise and defends those who cherish individual liberty. It suggests several ways Americans can wrest back their freedoms from the growing horde of special interests and bureaucrats who daily encroach on people’s private lives. (Compare to USTA in tennis)

Again, Javier, you are going to rub in the face of the USTA, some Nobel Prize economist to explain something they do not or care to understand?

- I just want to enlighten the less fortunate for the benefit of the sport. This is the responsible thing to do.
