The Moral Cowardice of the USTA.

What happens when a non-profit ignores its mission is the subject of this article, I will try to explain how the deliberate actions of the leadership are hiding behind its organization and each other and having an open acceptance of the most despised character trait of a human: cowardice. If this trait is held at the top of the organization ( where people make the most money), imagine the organization as a whole. The moral compass for an ethical sport has been compromised by the very people in charge of protecting it. There is a perfect word for this kind of state: Putrified.
As you well know I have been trying to meet with the board for the past 4 years and enlighten them with a vision, a plan, and a Big Hairy Audacious Goal to pursue the benefit of the sport and the country, I met with the current CEO earlier in the year and delineated the plan hoping to be allowed to help the inept organization. All to no avail, so last night I decided to write this piece while watching the US Open (where only one male and female remain as our representatives).
