There’s no worse deaf man than the man who doesn’t want to listen, USTA! By Javier Palenque

The title of this article comes from a Mexican proverb, it really means that if you do not want to listen you won’t no matter what is in front of you. This morning, since it is a holiday, I went early to run with my dog and stopped by the neighborhood tennis courts. Once there it was so clear what I saw that I decided to make a short video of the site, so you can see it too. In the 2 minute video below you will validate with your own eyes the following:

1. Losing tennis real estate is an irreversible trend that only hurts tennis.
2. Aging the sport is also another trend that the USTA has no idea what to do to stop.
3. Keeping the status-quo is of all possible choices, the worst of them all.
4. Look for yourself and reach your own conclusion.
5. It is time for the board to step aside and let competent individuals run the sport.
