USTA: Ineptocracy in full display.
Ineptocracy (in-ep-toc-ra-cy): A system of government or governance where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing; and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers or the hijacking of a sport and run it in a monopolistic way and losing millions of dollars in the process.
Many of my readers write to me and ask me to please stop calling USTA executives inept that these are harsh words and turn off many readers. To those loyal readers, I say: Let me describe three very important situations as I see them and let us not be politically correct. But first what is politically correct and then lets take my comments in perspective. In a nutshell, ‘political correctness’ means avoiding language and actions that insult, exclude or harm people who are already experiencing disadvantage and discrimination. As you can see USTA executives experience no disadvantage at all, and in fact it is them who discriminate not the other way around, so now you can agree that being politically correct with an advantaged group makes no sense. I call what I see and if it’s a full display of ineptitude, that is what it is. So do not be offended.
