Watching and listening to ineptitude…

Imagine being the Chairwoman of the board of the worlds best funded sport nonprofit, the brilliant USTA. This organization has the fewest kids playing the sport and the oldest adults, this of course contradicts the image of the wonderful US Open. I requested a meeting with the board so they could explain to me how is this possible and offer suggestion to improve the low amount of kids playing, I mean the best funded with the least kids? this made no sense to me. So I reached out to the organization and never received a response, until I had to pull strings and have someone call a friend of a friend who knows a board member and get a reply. Uff! all that maneuvering to simply speak to a not for profit head? This is telling, in the end I got the reply (months later), you can see it below. read it with pause as it will shock you.

Today it is almost 4 years later and there is no participation data anywhere to be found and no proof that the sport is growing or the actual number of players per age and zip code? Notice she says that information is confidential, why would that be the case? when you claim your mission is to grow the sport I want to know how much per year its…
